Buying at Auction

The buying experience explained…

We have tried to make our buying service as simple as possible however please contact us if you need any further information or guidance.

Before the Auction

Our catalogues are uploaded online, usually 2-3 weeks prior to each event. In addition a hard copy catalogue is often available a week prior to the auction.

The quickest way to view our events is online. As we use multiple platforms, you have the option of viewing in various locations. We do however advise use of our own website as if you decide to participate in any bidding, there are no additional surcharges as would be applicable via thesaleroom.com or liveauctioneers.com

Legally biding

Please remember that by bidding in any form is your agreement to enter into a contract of sale with the auctioneer and seller if you are successful. Please think carefully before bidding.

After the Auction

If you have been successful, we politely ask all bidders to not contact us until you receive your buyer’s invoice. This is usually sent the Monday Afternoon after the event. Our Back Office System will send your invoice, initially without shipping. You are invited to check the invoice and inform us if anything appears incorrect. If you require postage, you are able to request a quote by clicking the invoice link or by simply emailing or calling the office. Please be aware lines are extremely busy 3 - 4 days after an auction event.

Postage

We use our own in-house packing service to cater for purchases that are required to be shipped. This is a Worldwide service and our aim is to keep costs as competitive as possible. If you request postage, this will be added to your invoice. It may take up to 21 days to receive your items due to high volumes of lots requiring shipping. Our dedicated team take time and care in preparing lots for shipment in order to ensure you receive items in the condition they leave us.

Collection of Lots

Please ensure you book an appointment with us prior to travelling to collect your lots. Payment can be made in advance or upon collection.
