Indian Diecast Bonanza

Coming up in our next Vintage Diecast event will be a significant collection of Indian Diecast from the stables of ‘Nicky Toys’ and ‘Maxwell / Miltan’. Many will be familiar with Nicky Toys having (for a short period) had the license to produce British Dinky Toys. The patterns were continued, albeit without the Dinky name although some earlier examples still present Dinky on the baseplate. Some models are scarcer than others with the upcoming section showcasing several more uncommon examples.

Maxwell, another Indian diecast toy producer, is also famous for jumping into British diecast producing shoes. Within the section forthcoming, you will be familiar with several castings used by the Indian brand having been manipulated directly from Corgi moulds. This similarity has led to the Indian toys being quite popular amongst collectors.
