The Harold Crampton Kit Collection
Featuring in November 2022, we are pleased to present the Harold Crampton Model Kit Collection. Split over two auctions with the second part due in 2023. Occasionally, time can stand still with toys and it is apparent to see with the majority of Harold’s model kits. Harold had a keen interest in aircraft and the history of aviation. Clearly visible with the majority of model kits being of aircraft theme. Harold was also a keen collector of aircraft literature and also enjoyed making the kits as well as storing untouched examples. The collection features many makers including Airfix, Revell, Italeri, FROG and many others. Harold was known to be a keen builder and collector of kits throughout the 1950’s / 60’s and 70’s but sadly died in 1977 and his vast collection has incredibly remained untouched until this year. The vast majority are untouched, complete and unstarted with some still factory sealed. We’re delighted to be able to feature Harold’s collection this November and early in 2023.
