Williams Formula 1 Memorabilia

We are proud to be featuring in our June specialist collectables auction a scarce collection of authentic Williams Formula 1 memorabilia from the late Peter Ampleford collection. Peter ‘Acker’ Ampleford was Williams Team Toolmaker for 22 years retiring in 2001. He enjoyed buoyant times at Williams from 1979 where from humble beginnings at their Didcot base they progressed with many triumphant seasons to their present day status as one of Formula One’s principle teams. This small but significant collection will be sold on Saturday 24th June which includes vintage clothing, original car body parts and a signed (JPM) and mounted steering wheel presented to ‘Acker’ for his retirement in 2001.
